It makes me sad when people class a “good read” as Joey Essex’s autobiography. Surely, it’s barely even a book.

Does anyone else think when they are reading that the characters are just stuck until you pick up the book and continue to read? I always think when I’ve shut my book it’s like I’ve paused all the characters, and when I resume reading they’re like ‘ah thank God we can finally carry on deciphering these clues and escaping bad guys.’
Speaking of which I need to get back to Robert Langdon.
